2018 KSA State Freestyle Titles
The Freestyle titles are on again at the home of SA Kitesurfing, the Grange Sailing Club on the 3rd and 4th of February 2018.
This is the biggest event on the KSA calendar, with this year being no exception and thanks to Kiteboarding Australia in partnership with Classic Holidays it’s now part of aNational Freestyle Series.
To our newbies of the sport, KSA is really big on just having fun and participation. Essentially, if you can ride, the amateur division is for you. There are always stacks of prizes to be won, with previous years stoke awards winners walking away with items like a brand-spankin’ new board’s, kite’s or harness’s, all just for having a go and sharing the stoke!
To our seasoned riders in the Open and junior divisions, we always love seeing you guys and girls battle it out, inspiring the rest of us mere mortals who can only dream oflanding some of those sick handle passes and kiteloops. In saying that, the Open Mens, Open Womens and Juniors is always hotly contested, and with so many new faces on the water it’s shaping up to be a super fun comp!
To the oldies, yeah im looking at you Masters and Legends! Well… we are yet again looking forward to seeing those silky smooth old school moves which you have perfected over the years, showing all the youngens just how its done! Seriously, legends, I hope I can still kite when im 50+, stoked!!
A massive thanks must go to all the amazing sponsors who have got behind the event again this year. With over $5,000 worth of cash and prizes up for grabs everyone will walk away with a sweet prize!
